Mrs. Arthur's PageIt's hard to believe another great year has passed, and I'm starting my 22nd year of teaching. For thirteen of those years, I taught 5th grade. I've also taught 6th grade and 2nd grade and am currently teaching 8th grade. This will be my 15th year teaching at Sonora Elementary, and I consider myself lucky to work in such an amazing community of students, parents, and educators. I love my job!
First of all, I was born and raised in the Central Valley. I earned my bachelor's degree in history from UC Berkeley and my teaching credential from Chapman University. I have lived in Tuolumne and Calaveras for the last 23 years. I currently live in Vallecito (near Murphys) with my husband, two kids,Emma and Luke, and our dogs Molly and Brody. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, gardening, reading, playing music, and spending quality time with family and friends.
